The last work bee before the 19th annual Kispiox Valley Music Festival is Sunday, July 21, from 11 am to 4 pm.

Here is the work list for the last Sunday work bee before Music Festival.
- Yard Work (mowing, weed whacking, raking): around Gate House, final touch-up on all commons areas, children’s playground, upper bench camping area, around large outhouse (bring equipment)
- Hospitality Building clean-up
- Clean-up: Gate House, Lock-up etc.
- Pressure Washing: We have one pressure washer, but we sure do need one more. Bring the pressure washer and extra hoses and extension cords.
- Hall Set-up: Barb could use one more helper for this labour intensive job.
- Set-up: benches, picnic tables, garbage cans, and etc.
Lunch is provided, but any dessert or salad donation is always welcome.
Bring tools and yourself.

Call out for billeters during the July 26-28th festival weekend. Some of our performers need a place to stay. Do you have space to accommodate musicians in your home? Weekend and/or family passes available to those who can help.

For any marketplace vendors out there that have yet to send in applications, the deadline is this Friday, June 21st. After that late fees take effect. Spaces are limited and filling up. 🙂 Applications can be found on the website.
Please note that the coordinators and board members don’t necessarily scan the web site regularly checking to see if anyone has made comments that are relevant to their festival duties. If you have a question or comment that requires the attention of a coordinator or board member, please use the Contact form provided on the Contact page to be sure that it gets where it needs to go.
This position has been filled. Many thanks to all those who so enthusiastically offered their services.
NEEDED: someone to be the Hall Stage Manager for this year’s festival. The person who was going to do it has had to bow out.
As the title implies, the job is about managing the stage in the hall. Anyone who’s interested in taking on this important and necessary role should contact our lead coordinator, Geoff Watling.
