Our first work bee is happening this weekend, starting at 11 am on the festival grounds! Bring yard work tools, maybe carpentry tools if that’s your thing, or just yourself and your desire to help make this year’s festival a success.
Thee will be a work bee, same time same place, every Sunday until Festival time, except for the first weekend in July.
Your participation in a work bee goes toward your volunteer hours to earn a free pass to the festival:
- 10 hrs = weekend pass
- 6 hrs = youth weekend pass (youth=12-18 years old)
- 24 hrs = weekend pass plus meals at Hospitality Kitchen (must be completed BEFORE the festival)
We need a huge turnout! 🙂
This Sunday, July 19, will be the last work bee and festival meeting before the 21st annual Kispiox Valley Music Festival! Work bee from 11 am to 4 pm, meeting about 2 pm.
On the same day, starting at 9:30 am, there is a festival cooking bee. Lots of chopping, dicing, stirring, tasting.
Lunch is provided.
Hey, check out the new Volunteers page!
This festival cannot function without volunteers and we really need plenty more of you to come forward. 🙂
With only a week to go until festival time, we are very short of volunteers to staff the gate during the festival. We urgently need more people to fill these positions! If you can help, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator through the contact page on the web site or contact Gate Coordinator Brian Pritchard directly.
Every Sunday between now and the festival weekend, we will have a work bee starting at 11 am and a meeting at 1 pm to discuss any issues that members and other interested people may have.
Both the work bee and the meeting will be at the Kispiox Valley Community Grounds where the festival will be held.
Come on out and help make our 20th annual Kispiox Valley Music Festival a great success!
P.S. Bring shovels, rakes, mowers, weed whackers.
